The last leg of today....about 95 degrees on the Bridge but no thunderstorms and when we left this morning we had a 50% chance...The Newburgh-Beacon Bridge replaced not only the last remaining ferry service across the Hudson River, but also the oldest ferry in the US.

Today we have traveled from Croton-on-Hudson to PYC (Poughkeepsie Yacht Club) which is 7-miles north of Poughkeepsie. The club welcomes all transient vessels and has a lounge and a free laundry. Our trip was 49.1 miles long....moving speed average....8.7 mph.....total average 6.1 mph....stopping time 2:24hrs for fuel/pump-out......total time 8:01 hrs....with a max speed of 10.9 mph....
