The Hudson River Valley used to be shipping and manufacturing centers. Now the crowds from the city are moving for the culture and to be without city noise.
We will face a fair current moving north on the Hudson. Tidal range varies from 3 to 5 feet and the currents @1.5 knots. Also the wind blows up or down the Hudson with lots of summer squalls.
We have a 8:45AM departure and hopefully the rain will stay away.....
