HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!!!
We are progressing on the Great American Loop and have traveled 3462 miles with 390 hours on the engines and moving down the waterway at 8.88 MPH. We left Grand Rivers KY October 15, 2012 and have been gone 263 days. We have traveled through 11 states with a side trip to the Abacos in the Bahamas on a 43 foot trawler. And we still like each other......

I know it's the 4th of July and where is the potato salad, BBQ Ribs and baked beans....we are at a small marina on the C & D Canal with Spanish Cusine being offered at the local restaurant. There isn't a town close by to walk too so you do what you do......I know I could have cooked but no fires on the dock. In the 263 days we have been on the boat we have used the grill MAYBE 7 times because of the Marina Rule.....No Grilling on the Docks!!!!

We left the Marina at 7:10AM because we want to head South on high tide. This way we will not be going against the current. It has taken us an hour to get to the entrance of Delaware Bay.
