Day 366 July 24 17 mi Killbear Marina ON

Short travel day.....the distance is too great to go into Byng Inlet in one day and since we do not anchor with Miss Saddi (yet) we move to Killbear Marina in Pengallie Bay.
We have decided not to take the alternate route into Parry Sound because we want to experience as much of the Small-craft route as possible.

We depart Henry's about 8:30AM and head up the west side of Parry Island.  We follow The Long Sauch and Waubuno channels and meet up with the other main track at Caning Rock on the north side of Parry Island.  This is the preferred route if your float plan does not call for a stop at the town of Parry Sound.

Part of this route is not protected from Georgian Bay and you know Saddi does not like to rock and roll.

This is our day....hard to explain just how beautiful this country is and how many cottages are out here.....Do you think every Canadian owns a cottage???????????
Very few fishing boats on the water today (could it be it was 50 degrees last night)....
