Day 222-225 May 24-27 Morehead City Yacht Basin Morehead City NC

Memorial Weekend 2013 and we are spending it in Morehead City/Beaufort North Carolina.  These twin cities are considered by many to be the hub of North Carolina pleasure cruising and it must be true because there are boats everywhere.  A BlueMarlin tournament is going on and our dock is lined with tower boats..........they fish about 45 miles out in the gulf stream so they leave by 6AM.  It's a busy place.
