Day 417 September 13 48 mi Tall Timber Marina Havana IL

It was 42 degrees on the bridge this morning....but the sun is going to shine today....and the rain has gone away along with the wind....  We are headed downstream with a 9:30AM departure....

 Perkin Wiggles is a narrow winding section of the waterway
 
 
Lots of barge activity sometimes blocking the waterway
 
 
Peoria Lock and Dam ....7th Dam....with a 8 foot drop
 
 
The Wickets are down today due to high water
 
 
 
During high water the wickets are lowered to the bottom of the river to allow the traffic to pass over them without having to lock through

We are back to rural farmland and the river

 with Just Us, Sweetwater and Lucky Us in port
