Perkin Wiggles is a narrow winding section of the waterway
Lots of barge activity sometimes blocking the waterway
Peoria Lock and Dam ....7th Dam....with a 8 foot drop
The Wickets are down today due to high water
During high water the wickets are lowered to the bottom of the river to allow the traffic to pass over them without having to lock through

We are spending the night....will depart tomorrow and will anchor out one night.....and then on to Grafton......Still flood stage on the Mississippi River and the water is rising on the Illinois River but we have had no current nor trash in the river.....
