Day 315 June 3,2014 On our way

Think I have forgotten everything I knew about a blog......hold on.....this may take some time.  You know I'm not getting any younger.
But the time has come for the crew on the Nanseann to get out of Southern Illinois and head for New York.
We have had several delays.....Erie Canal was closed for over a week due to high water.  You know Canada did have SNOW this year and the spring runoff has been high. Winter Harbor Marina's yard was full of boats waiting to go in the water and the docks were full of boats waiting to get through the locks that were closed.   Plus Miss Saddi came up with a tumor that had to be removed.

Isn't that horrible......the results are good.....low grade of cancer but Larry was able to get it ALL....waited for the drain tube to be taken out and Rik can remove the stitches on the road.
So we depart Marion on June 3rd at 7:30 AM.

Now why are we pulling a Harley trailer......and why are we driving our truck to New York.....well, Steve is riding his Harley to NY to pick up the truck and he will need a trailer for his bike.....that's why!!!!
We traveled over 10 hours today......over 600 miles.....but what can I say.....that's the Captain.

Nice Motel that didn't charge an extra $35 a nite for me

This room had some Scotch

When we came back last fall we went to visit our buddies on Pier 11 at Green Turtle Bay and they took us on a boat ride for lunch.  Had to share!!!!
