The shoreline from Leland to Frankfort is part of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park. They say the 480-foot-tall sand dunes, white beaches and a backdrop of forests, views from the lake are simply breath-taking.......that is what we want to see....

We will be in Frankfort two days.....time to see the town and check the weather for Monday......We have learned.....winds 8-10mph and from the NW cause a bumpy ride....So if the weather chart says NW stay in port and wait until Lake Michigan changes its mind.....
