We are the only boat and they are ready for us

Where is Gerald to help

Pipes running down both sides of the lock...Simply pull up to one of these pipes amidships and run a line around the pipe.  We are going up today....

Village of Waterford

A large blue sign marks the intersection of the Erie Canal and the Hudson River as it continues north to Lake Champlain.
Turn to port and we're in Waterford, the oldest incorporated village in the United States.  At the Welcome Center there is a 1000-foot floating dock with electricity and water.  We can stay 48 hours.

Here is our Blue Sign....to port Captain

Waterford Harbor Visitor's Center

Two boats pulled in right before we got to the docks.....so they tightened one sailboat to a tug so that the Nanseann could get onto a floating dock and with 50AMP.....someone was looking out for us....Well we are here until Sunday or Monday morning......Docking is free....electricity is $10 for your stay...not per night...

They put this one where you pump out

That's it....lock closed for the evening....all the boats are docked
