Day 258 June 29 65 mi Rock Hall Landing Marina Rock Hall MD

 
Departure.... Saturday 6:30AM....following the "rules of the Chesapeake".....Early starts to avoid late afternoon potential thunderstorms.....with wind less than 15 knots.  Weather forecast is light wind (less than 11 knots)  pushing us up the Chesapeake.....it's a go Captain
 
They say that if you could unravel the Chesapeake Bay shoreline and lay it out in one long ribbon, it would reach from the Washington Monument (the one in D.C.) all the way to Alaska.
