We had dinner last evening at Dock and Dine with neighbors. Interesting to note that the dining room was full of "locals".....full house. They told us the night before they served 102 dinners to boaters.....

Shops close Saturday afternoon and on Sunday nothing is open.....you are on your own....the wind is blowing....storms putting a halt on the golf tournament in Florida.....and we are cooking on the Griddle as it is tooooo windy to grill outdoors....
We listen to Cruisers Net on VHF 68 at 8:15AM to hear what the weather is going to do....what the waves are like in the cuts and what social events are going on in the Abacos....Everyone says STAY IN PORT today and watch it rain and blow....OK!!!! It is calm in our harbor but outside in the Sea of Abacos there are 4-5/foot waves and a North wind....we don't need to be anywhere.....
Rik finishes his second book in 15 years (Last Train to Paradise Henry Flagler And The Spectacular Rise And Fall Of The Railroad That Crossed The Ocean by Les Standiford and Suzy has loaned me the book Man-O-War My Island Home by Haziel Albury and Saddi is watching for 4-legged friends so we are content.
Rudy, next door neighbor walks to the north end of the island in the morning and the south end of the island in the afternoon with his snorkeling gear.....well the island is 2 1/2 miles long...we can do that...so off we go toward the south hoping the rain will stay away....

When we returned to the marina the fuel truck had arrived. Guess we thought a barge would bring fuel but didn't know the truck would come too.....

Well this is exciting
CASH price for Diesel is $6 per gallon and Gas is $6.10 per gallon.....guess which one they sell the most of.....But Tommy will take a check and give you the cash price.....he has to pay charges on the Credit Card transactions.
I have seen one car on the Cay....several of the little white trucks.....but most use a golf cart or boat to haul their things and get around the Cay.....but again it is 2 1/2 miles long....

Slow cooker has been on today.....pot roast with potatoes and carrots plus Lola's homemade yeast rolls. Tuesday is NCIS (thank you Gerald for providing TV service) The wind is howling and you can see the tide moving throught the harbor.

This is our last day on Man-O-War Cay.....weather window tomorrow to move to Hope Town and a new adventure. The Captain gave me the following facts....
As of Day 164 we have traveled 1959 miles......we have 210 hours on the engines.....and an average speed of 9.33 MPH
