Flying the Bahama Flag
Today we will cross the Little Bahama Bank which is shallow and you must read your charts and keep a sharp eye on the water. Well we can do that....Captain has his chartplotter and I'm following the route on the I-Pad. Saddi has the paper charts.....so we can do this. Out we go to the seas and turn north toward Indian Cay Channel....we are at the lat/long....but are in open water.....no markers of any kind and we are to turn East and go thru a channel without any red/green markers....Oh Me!
We are at high tide...meaning about 9 feet....so lets go....slow speed Captain.....
We can still see the West End
Well Capt we made it....good job Saddi.....we are headed to Mangrove Cay 21.1 nm away.
