Saddi is ready
There are two routes to Tampa Bay. We have chosen the one without a fixed 18 foot bridge. We enter Boca Ciega Bay. There are crab pots.....there is real estate of every size and color. The water is smooth and the sun is bright.
These Condos have a boat house and a garage
I could live in the little house
The new Pinellas Bayway Bridge
The Don CeSar Hotel
We enter Terra Ceia Bay and travel across the bay to the causeway leading to the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. (I-275) This is a shallow bay with warnings posted. You can see the bottom on each side of the channel. So stay in the channel.
Capt asked what the sign says
Stay away Capt
Watch the current too
The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a cable-stayed concrete bridge. It was opened in 1987. The bridge is 190 feet above water with support cables spreading from the two center pillars. When you drive over the bridge you have an unobstructed view of the water during the 4-mile trip over Tampa Bay. The Sunshine Skyway Bridge ranks third in the top Ten Bridges of the world.
We have driven over the bridge, sailed under the bridge and this time we crossed the shipping channel headed southeast.

We locate our markers and enter the ICW once again. Real Estate on both sides of the waterway. Lots of bridges which we can clear. We travel past Brandenton, Cortez and Longboat Key to Sarasota Bay. You can see Sarasota in the distance.

Downtown Sarasota
We are staying at Marina Jack, a premier marina facility which is downtown Sarasota for 3 nights. May have to take out a loan.
